Weight Loss Update #3

Hello, hello!

January has been a great month! Something about the new year is so motivating, even though I started my weight loss a few months ago, starting fresh in 2017 was a great way to get me going even more… or so I thought. I had been slacking a lot at the gym for most of December, so while it feels great to start working out a bit more again, I’m not going to be losing any more weight for the time being.

The reason for this sudden change of heart, you might ask?

We’re having a baby!

We’ve already been seen for a dating scan, and today we are officially 8 weeks and 1 day along today. I have been fortunate enough so far, that I have had no strong symptoms other than being much more hungry than usual and constantly tired.

I think this will be a fun way to keep track of everything as it happens, I’ll upload photos here weekly, (so be prepared for my posting schedule to change a bit), and I’ll create a little questionnaire for myself of all the things I’d like to keep track of, like cravings, symptoms and measurements.

While I’m a little bit sad that I have to put my weight loss progress on hold, there is nothing that can describe how excited we are. And now, instead of watching me shrink, you can watch me get bigger again. The weight loss updates will resume in the fall!
