June Goal Setting

So… May… I don’t think I’ve done too well, again. I feel as though overall I have just been lacking in energy and motivation. We’ve been having some difficult stuff going on over the last month, so I think that’s taken a toll on my ability to get things done. So I didn’t set a new June Goal, I’m just going to focus on doing what I simply haven’t been doing. I need a kick in the butt.

While my weight loss goals have been put to one side, I do want to be a little bit more active this coming month. I want to hit my step goal five days a week, for a total of 23 days. I’m gaining so much weight! I’m way up above where I should be on my charts, and it’s making me a little bit nervous. As of today, I have a total of only 8 days but an average of 80% of my daily step goal. I feel a bit uncomfortable going back to the gym here, but I might force myself. Even just spending 30 minutes walking on the treadmill will be good for me. I actually DO want to start building up some muscle again.

I also want to take more photos! Like… nice ones. While I do really want a new camera, it’s really no excuse. I have some really good lighting, and I have the capacity to take great photos, I’ve just been a bit lazy. On one hand, I have been taking profile shots to add to my pregnancy updates. I’m not counting that, though. Like last month, my lake of motivation and energy have meant that I haven’t been doing my makeup. Also, what I didn’t talk much about last month were my eyebrows. I had my touch up early this month, and you can’t put makeup on (or near) scabby eyebrows so I just avoided it.

Seriously, I want (need) to get rid of some stuff. I have handbags and a car to sell that have just been sitting for a while, as well as a couple of boxes that just need to go to the Salvation Army. Currently, I think I have two medium U-Haul boxes already packed and ready to go. Two more need to be filled with donation stuff, sell some handbags, a Fossil watch, some of the battery packs that are leftover Amazon stock and the car. This almost didn’t happen. I only got around to any of it because we received a huge, free new fish tank. The salvation army box was the easiest thing to dump, and I packed up at least one more full box. I did list the Marc Jacobs, though. I would have listed the Neverfull, but the clutch/pouch part is missing! But that’s pretty much it.

I’m right back to being super unproductive, great. I feel like I need to be challenged and pushed to get these things done, and I don’t really have that kind of support. I also don’t really ask for it, though, so I can’t exactly complain. Do you set goals every so often? What do you want to accomplish this next month? Leave me a comment or tag me on social media!
