Holy Grail Beauty Products

We all have a few products that we keep buying over and over again despite all the other options available. Often these become referred to as “Holy Grail” because they are just that good. While I’m still on the hunt for a lot of these products myself, I have found a couple that I believe are worth sharing.

Revlon Dramatic Definition Mascara Holy GrailNumber One

This is something that I have been purchasing pretty religiously for a couple of years now. It’s the Revlon Dramatic Definition mascara.
I have fairly long and thick lashes with enough curl to get away without doing much to them. Because of this, I never felt like I needed tons of extra length, and I don’t particularly love the volume effect on my lashes. What I do love, though, is definition, and this mascara gives you lots of it.
Plus, it’s pretty cheap. Even for a drugstore mascara. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it for more than $12 CAD, and if you look you can often find it on sale, or in a two-pack for a discount.

Shu Uemura AntiOxi Purifying Cleansing Oil Holy GrailNumber Two

I’ve loved cleansing oils for years. I’ve tried many different brands, from MAC to DHC and many in between, but my absolute favourites overall are the Shu Uemura cleansing oils, and specifically the Anti/Oxi.
They are easily the most effective I have ever used, breaking down any product that I apply (including waterproof mascara) and still manages to be extremely gentle. If I do get some in my eyes, they will cloud over a bit as they will with all cleansing oils, but the cleansing oil itself is not the slightest bit irritating.
While the price may seem daunting upfront, especially for the larger bottle, the price per ml is actually very similar to the DHC Deep Cleansing Oil, and cheaper than MAC. Out of everything that I mention, this is the product that is probably most worthy of the “holy grail” title.

dear Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream Holy GrailNumber Three

This is the only product on the list that I haven’t actually repurchased yet. But I know I will, so that’s close enough, right? The dear Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream is simple goodness.
I don’t have particularly sensitive skin, although this cream is great for that, but I do have pretty dry skin. This lotion is heavy enough for night time use, especially with all my other skincare products, but it is also not too heavy for daytime use, as long as it has a few minutes to absorb. Even during the day, it is layered with a couple of other products, and I have no problems with makeup slipping or separating.
Plus, it’s moderately priced. Not cheap, but also not too expensive.

Do you have any holy grail products? Is there anything that you know you’re going to keep purchasing forever? Leave me a comment or tag me on social media, I’d love to know what it is!
