I fell behind over the last few days because I have had a miserable cold. I managed to get my Monday and Tuesday posts up essentially because they’re easy, but then I slept as much as I could until Thursday morning when I had to get back to work. Fortunate;y, I’m well enough today to get this post up on time. These have been my favourite things for the month of February!
I’m not going to lie… These are not the cutest thing in the world, but they are sooooo comfortable. I have a “traditional” style pair of EMU boots as well as a knit pair of UGGs. They’re not super cheap, but I’ve had both pairs for at least five years and other than some salt stains on the EMU boots, they’re still in great shape. I’ve been wearing the EMU boots in particular for most of the winter.
I’ve been working really hard to revamp my skincare routine this year. While I haven’t yet committed 100% I am definitely looking into purchasing more cruelty-free products,
however, they still need to work flawlessly. These two products have absolutely been amazing for my skin. They are lightweight and hydrating as well as feeling extremely gentle on my skin. While I will continue to experiment with skincare, these will definitely be a staple and I will continue to purchase them for the foreseeable future.
I think I’m a little bit obsessed with matte liquid lipsticks. I have managed to collect a lot of them over the last few months. This colour is a beautiful pinky neutral that goes with absolutely everything. It’s really gorgeous, and if you’re looking for a similar colour to Koko K (which I also love and wear all the time) this one is pretty similar for a much cheaper price.
It wears pretty well, plus since it’s somewhat of a “my lips but better” type shade, even when it does start to wear it’s not very noticeable. It also layers quite well for touchups.
Holy… Nostalgia, but not. This is not how I remember my Archie comics, but this is one of the greatest remakes that I think I’ve ever watched. It keeps all the things I loved about the comic books as a child, but they managed to make it much more modern and appealing to today’s audience. I’m not really someone that tends to watch shows on a weekly schedule, preferring to wait until the whole season is out so that I can binge watch. The fact that I am happy to sit down every Friday to watch this (and I don’t even complain), should prove to people who know me well how much I am enjoying this series so far. I can’t wait to see where it goes!
I literally started watching this lovely lady’s videos because she is beyond gorgeous, but I stuck around because she seems like a really genuine person with a great message to share.
Her videos are a bit all over the place (but not in a bad way at all). She covers everything from simple makeup to vlogs, food videos, exercise and some really good self-esteem stuff too. She also shares a very interesting perspective of what it’s really like to me a model in New York City, which is both inspirational and a bit of a reality check.
Also, her Instagram is beautiful
I feel better already. I’m liking how this year is going so far. What do you think? What are your top 5 right now? Let me know in a comment.
