I know this is the second gift haul that I’ve done recently. If you love seeing these, that’s great for you! If you hate them, good news! I don’t have another birthday until next year, and Christmas is a long way away too! Like I said last time, this is not supposed to be a showing off thing, it’s more like show&tell. It gives you a glimpse into some of the new things I have at home and what I’m excited about. Also, if you see anything you want to know more about, that you’d like to know my opinion on or see a more in depth review, this is a great place to let me know!
So let’s see what I got!
The big “gift” I got this year was from my boyfriend. It was a little bit less of a birthday gift and more of a celebration of the time we’ve been together, but… I got a ring!
It’s rose gold, round cut halo setting with pretty side stones, and I absolutely love it. I even found a similar style online. We have no plans for a big wedding right now; currently getting both or our families together presents a bit of a challenge, but it would be amazing to find a convenient middle-ground (Hawaii?) to have our formal celebration a little while down the line.
…(but I’m getting off topic, oops)
I also got the Anastasia Beverley Hills Modern Renaissance Palette that I have been fawning over for ages, and small size of the Two Faced Lip Injection Extreme to try out. While I was at Sephora I also picked up the birthday gift for this year, which is a Tarte Creamy Matte Lip Paint in Birthday Suit and an Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush in Paaarty, which are both Sephora exclusives and absolutely gorgeous!
My friends treated me to a mini spa day complete with a mini massage and mani-pedi, as well as a really cute relaxed-fit top from Prana. We were originally planning a little “dinner party”, but one friend’s boyfriend was busy and the other friend’s boyfriend got sick, so mine just hid out and let us have a fun girls’ night, which was much needed.
That’s it for this year! I hope you enjoyed it! More reviews coming soon. Was there anything you liked? Let me know in the comments.
