April Goal Setting

March was not a very productive month. I’m not going to lie. I don’t think I hit any of my goals 100%, but I do feel like I can cut myself a little bit of slack, as I was sick for almost the entire month. I also wrote this post and kind of forgot about it, which wound up being a little bit counter productive. I’m going to try and put my April goal a little bit more front and centre this month to see if it helps me focus on them more.

While my weight loss goals have been put to one side, I do want to be a little bit more active this coming month. I want to hit my step goal five days a week, for a total of 23 days. My biggest fail. Unfortunately, I literally only got two days last month. I’m definitely going to try this again.

My blogging has been going great! I really hope to keep up the schedule that I’ve had going for the last few months. I also want to get a few more things scheduled ahead of time so that I’m not adding photos to my posts minutes before (or after) they’re scheduled. This month, I did manage to mostly stay on schedule, which I am happy with, but I didn’t get ahead at all. I wound up missing one Friday, which wouldn’t have happened if I had managed to get some stuff scheduled ahead of time, but hopefully I’ll be able to get more on top of that this month.

I also want to take more photos! Like… nice ones. While I do really want a new camera, it’s really no excuse. I have some really good lighting, and I have the capacity to take great photos, I’ve just been a bit lazy. I barely took any photos this month. Again, I will cut myself some slack, because who really wants to be snapping selfies when they feel like dying, BUT… I got my new camera with some of my tax return money! I’m still figuring it out, and it’s not exactly a selfie camera, but I really want to work on it this month.

Nothing new so far this month. I need to work on the stuff I set out for myself last month first. I have some higher hopes for myself this month, though! Do you set goals every so often? What do you want to accomplish this next month? Leave me a comment or tag me on social media!
