21 Week Pregnancy Update

21 weeks pregnant! Sometimes I can barely believe it! I know I’ve still got a way to go, but time has gone by so fast. If it wasn’t for the constant trips to the bathroom and the kicking, I might not really believe it. Overall I’ve felt so “normal” over the last few weeks. This is a wonderful change, and I’m embracing it as much as I can. I know it won’t last too much longer.

21 weeks pregnantHow far along? 21 weeks, one day

How big is Baby?  27 cm /  360 g

Total weight gain/loss? Truthfully, I haven’t been weighing myself. I’m probably up around 12 lbs so far.

Maternity clothes? I finally bought myself another pair of jeans. Variety was definitely needed and I appreciate not having to wash my jeans in order to wear them.

Stretch marks? None yet.

Sleep? I have to pee so much! Sleeping through the night isn’t a thing anymore.

Best moment this week? We actually missed our 20-week ultrasound because I mixed up the dates. The ladies at my midwife’s office were wonderful, though, and managed to reschedule me on Wednesday. So not only was that a huge relief, we got to see our little Moyashi!

Miss Anything? Not peeing constantly. Sleeping through the night.

Movement? All the time!

Food cravings? Nothing in particular. The salad craze is officially over.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope

Have you started to show yet? If I relax, I’m pretty big, but it’s still at the point where I can hold it in. I just have to engage my core.

Gender? We won’t find out for two more weeks! We couldn’t see anything on the scan, and the tech wouldn’t tell us.

Labor Signs? Nothing yet.

Belly Button in or out? In

Rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time? Happy as can be!

Looking forward to? Finding out the gender of this little bean sprout!

Anyone expecting? Or does anyone have children? Tell me a story in the comments! I’d love to chat with some other mamas!
